Hi! So, before I go off to LA for my visa interview, a thought occurred to me- I should probably dress up for that! I checked the Greek consulate website and there is no dress code, but it is, after all, an “interview.” Scary word.
I decided to pick something semi-fancier for my interview, but I guess others don’t have to, it just depends on your host country’s values. In Greece, I am told, they are always well dressed, and tend to be on the more conservative side of things. Women cover their shoulders in church and shorts are for 5-year-olds, not adults. (I am going to test this when I get there!)
I chose a knee length skirt and a blazer for a kind-of-professional-kind-of-fun look. We’ll see how it goes.
