Q:I just saw your post about feeling like an outsider in Greece and I got kind of excited because I felt the same way. I studied abroad in Vienna for ten months when I was 16 and although I felt so connected with my friends and host family, I still felt so distant and it got me down sometimes. I'm guessing you're just studying abroad for the Spring semester so you're probably coming home soon but enjoy every minute you get there. Just love it because even with hardships, it will still be worth it

Thanks! I still love Greece and I am enjoying it. This is definitely teaching me to grow a bit of a thicker skin about what people think of me. I usually care so much if someone doesn’t like me, but here, I just can’t. It doesn’t matter if some people don’t like me because of who I am. And I have met some very nice Greek people so I am just trying to focus on them instead! :)
